Ingredients
- 1 tsp Aashirvaad Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Aashirvaad Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Aashirvaad salt
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 cup Paneer Grated or in Cubes
- 1 tbsp Coriander Chopped
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- Green chilli chopped
- Onion chopped
- 1 tsp ginger- garlic paste
- Green capsicum chopped
- Carrot chopped
- Tomato chopped
- 2 Rotis made with Aashirvaad Atta
Procedure
- Keep two Rotis made with Aashirvaad Atta aside and prepare for making the paneer masala filling for the roll
- In a pan heat oil. Once hot, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds and let them fry
- Then add green chillies and onion and fry till onions turn pink
- Add ginger garlic paste to this Tadka and fry till the paste cooks and mixes well with the onions
- Then add chopped capsicum, carrot and tomatoes and mix well
- Cover with a lid on low flame and let it cook for at least 5 minutes
- Finally add spices like salt, Aashirvaad Red Chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and mix these spices evenly with the veggies
- Finally add paneer cubes and mix well till paneer cubes look yellowish-red and turn off heat
- Take the two Rotis made with Aashirvaad Atta and place this paneer filling on it
- Roll the Rotis till they wrap the paneer filling securely inside them
- Enjoy with mint chutney or ketchup!
Some important points to remember
- You can fry the paneer earlier if you want crispy paneer texture instead of the soft one
- Adding additional paneer butter masala or garam masala can make your paneer roll spicier but make sure to not overdo it
- Take your time while frying the veggies as cooked veggies are more favourable than undercooked veggies in this recipe!
