In the Beginning there was only one thing that human relied on was – WATER it is believed that only water will provide everything that body needs to replenish the fluids it loses. After that Milk was introduced with the domestication of animal. Then beer and wine, tea and coffee, consumed and loved by people because of their tastes. Then the newcomers were sugary beverages (which include soda), sports drinks, energy drinks and many more some of them are healthy choices like coffee and tea are consumed without added sweeteners are healthy.

Vegetable juices are better than fruit juice for hydration. But kids prefer to have fruit juices rather than vegetables one’s. fruit juice will be counted in one of the healthy drinks as It will helps in Digestion , strengthens your immune system, it also helps detoxify your body and naturally flush out the toxins from your body.

Here is a list of drinks that kids must have During Summer time for their refreshment:-

  1. Refreshing lime water: – you only need 4 things for making this.
  • 5 squeezed fresh lime
  • 10 cups of water
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 lime slices

How to make:-

Firstly, squeeze the juice from the limes and not forget to remove seeds then mix it with ice water. Garnish the drink with lime slices and mint leaves.

 

  1. Tropical party punch recipe: – you need few things while making this one.
  • 2 liters of mango nectar
  • 4 tablespoons of sweetened lime juice
  • 9 oz can of pineapple juice
  • 11/2 cups of cream of coconut
  • A liter of seltzer water
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Ice

How to make:-

Mix the mango nectar, lime juice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream in a larger bowl until they combined well. This will be the base of the punch. Store this in fridge until they are ready to serve .Now fill the class with ice and fill 2/3 of the glass with the base .you can top it off with seltzer water and grenadine.

 

  1. Pink lemonade punch:- The drink is perfect for birthdays, girls night etc.
  • 5 cups of white cranberry juice cocktail
  • A can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
  • 5 cups of lemon – lime soda
  • Fresh mint leaves

How to make:-

Stir the pink lemonade concentrate and cranberry juice cocktail together in a large pitcher. Cover the pitcher and chill. When you want to serve it stir it in lemon-lime soda. Garnish this drink with fresh mint.

 

  1. Agua fresco: it can be made with any fruit.
  • 2 cups of cold pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups of cold strawberries, hulled
  • 8 cups of water
  • ¼ blended sugar

How to make:-

Put all the ingredients into the jar blend them well. After that pour directly into glasses or sieve it to remove the foam.

 

  1. Cherry lemonade: – Try this for kids this is very easy to make and refreshing.
  • 2 oz of frozen cherries
  • A cup of fresh lime juice
  • A cup of sugar (granulated)
  • 4 cups of water

How to make:- 

Puree cherries and lime juice into the fine mixture. Low boil the cherry – lime mixture with a cup of water and sugar in a medium saucepan than stir it continuously. Strain it refrigerates it and adds three more cups of water and serve it over ice.

 

  1. Cherry Basil soda: – For this all you need is .
  • 2 cups of cherries
  • 1/3 tablespoons of water
  • 4 small leaves of basil
  • 1 large bottle of sparkling water

How to make:- 

Boil the cherries, sugar and water in a small pan. Simmer the cherries for 5-7 min at low heat until they get soft and then crush it with a folk. Squeeze the cherry syrup through a sieve into small bowl. Refrigerate this in freezer until the syrup is cool after that pour tablespoon of syrup in each glass then gently put one basil leaf in each glass with the help of wooden spoon.  Now fill the glasses with sparkling water and add ice. Stir the mixture with spoon and add garnished cherries.

  • Juiced lemon
  • Juices of I navel orange
  • 1-12 ounces of can perfect blood orange strawberry pear
  • 12 ounces of juiced grapefruit
  • I sliced lemon
  • 1 sliced lime

  • 1 sliced ruby red grapefruit

How to make:- 

Juice the lemon and orange and slice citrus. Combine all of three and add it to the citrus fruit. Mix them into the large bowl. You can also cool it before your serve.

  • 1 sliced lemon

Place all the sliced food in a pitcher. Pour the vanilla syrup in the same pitcher. Add a cup of lemonade concentrate. Top the pitcher with berry sparkling water stir the mixture well and cool before serving.

How to make:- 

In a two ice cube tray place one raspberry in each square. Fill each square with lemonade and freeze it. When you are serving place 4 or more ice-cube in glass filled with ice tea.

  • 2 ripe peaches
  • Liquid sweetener

  • 2 sprigs of mint

How to make:- 

Cut the peaches into half and remove the pit. Blend the peaches into blender until they are pureed. Pour a spoonful of peach puree into 12 oz Manson jars. Fill it with ice and a spoonful of peach puree. Add the liquid sweetener into chilled tea poured over ice. You can also add mint leaves before serving.
